About
Who I am?
Amber Boyle is a cybersecurity executive and national security strategist currently serving as Cybersecurity Delivery Manager at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud — one of the world's most respected cyber defense, threat intelligence, and incident response organizations.
With more than two decades of experience spanning military service, federal law enforcement, and enterprise security consulting, Amber brings a depth of operational expertise that is rarely found in a single career. She advises Fortune 500 organizations, government agencies, and executive leadership teams on cyber risk, insider threat program design, ransomware response, AI governance, and security transformation.
Amber began her career as a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Agent, serving with distinction across multiple combat campaigns including Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her military service gave her foundational expertise in adversary tradecraft, source operations, surveillance detection, and force protection that directly informs her approach to enterprise threat management today.
At the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Amber rose to Assistant Special Agent in Charge, providing executive oversight of national security programs spanning cyber operations, counterintelligence, and international terrorism. She served as Cyber Supervisory Special Agent and Counterintelligence Supervisory Special Agent, leading high-priority investigations targeting state-sponsored actors, organized criminal enterprises, hacktivists, and corporate insiders. Her tenure with the FBI included direct involvement in ransomware task force operations and major breach investigations affecting critical national infrastructure.
Prior to joining Mandiant, Amber served as Senior Principal at Infosys Consulting, where she delivered enterprise cybersecurity transformation programs for Fortune 500 clients and was recognized as performing at the associate partner level — and as, in the words of one global cyber business leader, "by far the single best cybersecurity professional I have worked with in my career."
Amber holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, an executive certificate in Artificial Intelligence Applications for Growth from Kellogg Executive Education at Northwestern University, and a Women in Leadership certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business Management is from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
She holds the CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, AIGP, Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), CIPP/US, PMP, POPM, GWEB, GCIH, GSEC, GSIF, and Google Cloud Digital Leader certifications, and is an active member of IAPP, ISACA, ASIS International, ISC², ACFE, and WiCyS.
